Ron Kurjanowicz advises U.S. and international governments, industry, and universities in strategies for science and technology investments and innovation management.
He was the Senior Advisor to the U.S. Department of Defense Chief Technology Officer, and the Chief of Staff of the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA. He led the 2004 – 2007 DARPA Grand Challenge prize competitions that accelerated industry development of driverless vehicle technologies in the U.S and Europe.
Ron is a Harvard University National Security Fellow, and graduate of the University of Southern California International Relations program.
